Brown-headed Cowbird



The Brown-headed cowbird has become very common across
The country this is a male black body, thick beak brown head  the
Female  is a lighter shade of brown all over
same dark beak the juvenal is a little slimmer and is speckled brown, black and white. 



a problem with this bird is it likes to lay their eggs in nests of others causing
a decline in other species. because they are feeding the bigger cowbird baby more than their own baby's keeping up is hard.
in the old days they would follow cattle and eat the
Bugs that cattle stirred up from the grass. Sound
